Sydney Daily Photo has gone through babyhood and infancy to toddlerhood....and on April 19th had a third birthday.I forgot about it, but there's no need to worry - a delayed birthday party is better than none. So for the next few days I'm going to collage a few highlights from the past 3 years.
For a start, I blelieve that as much as monuments and nature and lovely places help form the character of a place, it is, above all, the people who shape identity of place. So, here are some of the faces I've shown of Sydney people going about Sydney things.

I've always loved your blog - it's so varied, sometimes making political comment, sometimes simply showing us your beautiful city and other times, as you say, it's the people that make a place. This collage is shows us just that perfectly.

Happy days... your take on life in our home town always puts a smile on my face and makes me happy, except of course when the photo is intended to be more contemplative.

Birthday wishes from one toddler to another. We are both 3, as Nottingham DP celebrated his/her birthday last month. I always stop by and see what's on offer from my favourite city, and always try to leave a comment.

ReplyDeleteI was just looking at some blog posts I did in 2005 which was four years ago. Some 1450 plus posts and that many photos. Too many photos. Too many people hijacking them and putting them on as their own. So I only leave 30 days, more or less, at any one time in an archive and then I delete them.

ReplyDeleteI was offline for almost a month moving house so missed Hyde DP's own third birthday - I thought of packing up after post 1000 but seem to have gathered some new steam to continue. Rune who minded the blog while I was offline even managed to find stuff to post for three days after he'd run out of scheduled posts so I've not missed a day.
