Southern England, including Bournemouth, is the home of the colourfully painted beach box.
I'm off travelling (currently in Bournemouth), and as I won't be taking any new shots of Sydney for a few weeks, and I've not taken a computer, I'm not sure I'll be able to post photos. So, I'm publishing some of my art works in the form of Artist Trading Cards. These small canvases are made on card of 69 x 89 mm dimensions (3.5 x 5.5 inches). They are made to trade with other artists, as the name implies. It is extremely bad form to sell them. Any medium can be used, but my preferred method of creation is by using rubber stamps and inks.

I've just been catching up on your cards and travels Sally. What an incredible journey you are on. We are fine tuning our trip, almost the reverse of yours - starting in England, then to France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and back to Paris. In Italy, we'll be staying in Florence as I have a friend who lives there whom I want to see.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your cards and the slices of history you are bringing us. Makes me realise, yet again, how much I don't know. We Australians do have an incredible thirst for knowledge don't we?
Happy travels dear.
I do visit and I do comment and I was here. I did look at your picture(s) and I did read what you wrote about them. I could say how great you are and how beautiful your work is but alas I would soon run out of things to say on the next blog I visited, so I just left this to prove I stopped and said a few words on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteMy Rheumatoid Arthritis hurts so I am using the same message for all.
