At various times yesterday it bucketed down; when it rains in Sydney, there's no mistake - no delicate Scotch mist or fine drizzle here- just great big fat downpours! Here's a break between showers, looking down Young St towards the Quay, taken from Farrer Place. .

Great photos and a good site
ReplyDeleteNice photo. I just was thinking about when my husband and I went to Las Vegas, NV a few years ago and there was a couple of girls there too from your town. They were telling us about the schools, etc. We were all on a tour together.
ReplyDeleteThis photo is filled with interesting objects, but at the same time it does not appear cluttered. Lots of activity and things to see and ponder.
ReplyDeletetres belle photo, comme quoi le mauvais temps inspire les photographes
ReplyDeletevery beautiful photograph, as what the bad weather inspires the photographers
I can vouch for Sydney rain. When we were there last year, there was a sudden downpour. Gail & I looked like drowned rats in about 3 minutes flat.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is where the expression "When it rains it pours" came from. Interesting photograph of a large city I would never get to see without seeing your photos.

What a beautiful photo - I can almost smell the rain. You've captured the atmosphere perfectly. Your weather is quite similar to ours, actually, but with slightly higher temperatures in summer. Our rain is apparently on the way later in the week.
ReplyDeletebeautiful shot!!
ReplyDeleteIlike what you're seeing in that point, pretty cool!
Rain....what's that?
ReplyDeletei see the famous bridge behind ;-)
