Happy Easter from Chocolate sellers of the world

Four days off work for most people, 2 weeks holidays for school kids. We're off down south this week. Traditionally it rains like crazy north of Sydney and is glorious on the south coast, so here's hoping!

  1. Happy Easter to you Sally...hope the south coast is gorgeous and relaxing. Will let you know whether we get our usual rain up here on the north coast!

  2. Happy easter to you too Sally

It sure IS raining at the moment, so I wish you better weather down south. Have a great time!

  3. We call it the Holy Week in Latin America and we don't celebrate with chocolate, although chocolate is endemic to Guatemala and Meso America. The word chocolate is derived from the Nahuatl language and it means bitter water... yes bitter; believe it or not the original chocolate is a bitter drink, just like coffee.

Anyhow, happy Easter to you Sally and have lots of sweet chocolate.

  4. Happy Easter from Germany. I was already longing for some of the baby Darrell Lea easter eggs BEFORE this photo!

  5. Happy Easter to you Sally and thank you to rudy about "chocolate" definition. I love chocolate and I know, I know, I'm not original.

  6. rudy: I much prefer non-sweet dark chocolate! Probably not as bitter as the original though ;-)

I spent Holy Week in Andalusia in southern Spain once...very colourful, and far more religious observance than we manage here!

I'd send you some Darrell Lea eggs if I could, photo a day !

  7. Happy Easter to you.

It is freezing here in SW Ohio. Really cold. Odd for this time of year.

I like your photograph. It is colorful and attractive and I would go in if I were there. Did you go in the shop?
