Walking past the old Police Headquarters in College St, I noticed the carefully arranged aftermath of a Good Time Having Been Had By All (on the next planter box were 4 equally carefully arranged beer bottles). It made me laugh. Maybe the homeless people who seek shelter under the porch had been helping celebrate yesterday's SDP anniversary?

Dear All and Sally,
ReplyDeleteSally is my closest and dearest friend and she has the only blog I ever read. This is also only when she reminds me and I am always amazes as to how she finds time, firstly to get the wonderful photos but to get them onto the blog.
That is because she is a researcher and I am not. I traweled the photos and loved them all as they are my city and holiday place.
I am a mad theatre goer and loved seeing Belvoir Theatre (by far my favourite) where Geoffrey Rush did his best work and returns at least every two years to tackel some challenging stage performances. He is guided by the artistic director, Neil Armfield. Congratulations Sally.xxx
Dear Sally,
ReplyDeletethankyou for reminding me of your fabulous blog.
I have thoroughly enjoyed a review of your wonderfully creative year.
I'll be asking you how I can download some of your brilliant photos.
What further impresses me is just how you have captured the diversity and particular beauty of our city.
What a talented person I have the privelege of knowing!
Here's to another healthy and interesting year!
Congratulations,Sally.xxx

I have seen bottles lined up like that before. And it is usually a sign that someone is probably drinking or drunk. A nice photo. I am not familiar with your brands but I wonder if these brands are expensive or cheap.
ReplyDeleteI came to thank you for visiting my blog, yesterday, and for your comments about Patty's last radiation treatment. She was so pleased that I heard from so many people, including Eric, and I know it made her day extra-special. She was also surprised that some of you also visited her blog and left comments there. So thank you for your visit and comments. Being new to the community, it was a big surprise to us. Thanks again.

You didn't know you were so popular in the homeless community, did you ;-)
ReplyDeleteDo you have a hangover as well after yesterday's party?
Interesting collection :) I wonder what sort of gang might choose that set of drinks. But whoever they are, I consider their party as a celebration to your DP birthday. Congratulation!
ReplyDeleteCould these be immigrants hankering after a "paid for" trip home ;-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a successful party.
Looks like someone had a good time for sure!
