  1. It looks like the bike is there to advertise the shop...correct?

  2. I like this shot a lot. That sure is one decorated bike and must smell nice with flowers fore and aft. Happy theme day and weekend.

  3. For one moment I thought we were in Monte Carlo for the Tour de France. There are still bikes around covered in artificial flowers.A very different topic for a night shot and a happy one with all those flowers.

  4. The bike has been standing there for so long that flowers have started growing on it.

  12. I like this post and I bet those cards in the wheels of the bike flip on the spokes when the bike is ridden. We used to use regular playing cards during WWII to do the same thing. Very cool.

I slept under a blanket last night. This has been the coldest July ever recorded here in Ohio where we live. And it was only 59 F here this morning. August is starting out to be more of the same. I fear a climate change is on the way and each year will disrupt the lives of more birds and butterflies to say nothing about the polar bears.

  16. Sorry this is so late, I had meant to say this earlier. I really like your photo Sally. It mankes me think of Mary Poppins, Eliza Dolittle and Covent Garden all rolled into one.

  17. Brilliant shot, and very strange to see "spoke cards" in a bike like that, but maybe they didn't even know about spoke cards (they are the invites to road races where bike couriers do silly things very fast). BUUUUUUT what I do spy are HOKEYSPOKES !!!!
