Reflection of your intrepid photographer and the Circular Quay area, as Guinness use global warming to advertise their stout , and have a bit of a "Pommy bash" at the same time! (The other up-side is that the curve of JC Decaux's advertising space makes my legs look long and lean! That's the real reason French women don't get fat - JC Decaux doesn't let them!)

oh this is some kind of funny! but also disconcerting
ReplyDeleteSince it's early morning here, and I need a little something to get going, your comments amuse!! Although global warning is no laughing matter.
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE, LOVE the ad!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant way to convince people to drink a little more ales..., I mean, stouts.
kate - I don't think it can ever be too early for a margarita????
ReplyDeleteLOL - that's so funny! Great ad.
ReplyDeleteFunny ad on a real subjet...So you think we might say thank you to Mr Decaux, you make me smile!
ReplyDeleteSally I really love your sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteAnd now, thanks to JC Decaux, Sydneysiders don't get fat either! The positive side of globalisation!
Hi again Sally...thanks for visiting my blog...very new at this. But I love your idea of a daily photo...hope you don't mind if I copy the idea! i have gone back and looked at more of your Arncliffe photos...my mum would love to see them all, as she lived in Arncliffe, in the one house, for about 55 years. We lived in Horsell Ave, no 7, which was knocked down by the then Dept of Ed to extend Athelstane PS. We lived right next door to the school, and used to climb the enormous old magnolia trees on weekends...the playground was like an extension of our backyard. I love your photos of Arncliffe Park, as one of my favourite autumn things was to walk or run through the piles of leaves shed by those enormous London Plane trees, kicking them up as i went. Would you mind if i put a link to your blog on my blog ( once I find out how to do it?) Thanks for taking me back to memories I haven't visited for yonks.
ReplyDeleteI'd be absolutely flattered,
ReplyDeletebravo pour le reflet, cela fait tres publicité ;o) je te souhaite un bon weekend
ReplyDeletecheer for the reflection, that made very publicity ;O) I wish you a good weekend
Too funny. I'm with you, though, I'd rather have Margaritas than Guiness.
