Spring is sprung

Fresh air, fresh blooms, fresh leaves on trees. Azaleas bloom in late winter, early spring, and they have been at their best the last week or so. The plane trees are re-leafing after their short hiatus. Winter is pretty short and unbrutal in Sydney, and spring doesn;t last long either!

  2. Aaaah lucky you, the tide's turning!
We're having our first really cold mornings now. Not that we need a coat, oh no, but I do need a jumper when I go fetch my bread at the bakery at 7 am, and I've added a light blanket on my bed, when I've slept with just a sheet on for the past 2 months...

Knowing where your passion lies I enjoyed yesterday's pool photo. I presume you had a swim there?

  3. Just a beautiful photograph. Wonderful. I don't think I have ever seen a bush so beautiful.
