Warning! Achtung! There are Crocs!

At Cape Tribulation, I saw the warning, and then, on the beach, I saw the Crocs (true! I didn't put them there!)

  8. Great idea!
Sally, I must say I'm totally jealous, our Aussie trip ended in Cairns but i'd have loved to go to Cape Tribulation...One day, one day!
When we were in Cairns, we spent some time in the rainforest with a guide who showed us huge crocodiles in the nature (!)not in a farm...and he explained to us there is a strong pollution caused by the intensive sugar cane farming: trees of the rain forest have been destroyed to enlarge fields and huge quantities of fertilizers and pesticides end in the sea with the strong rains, dragging the mud along the shore and damaging parts of the Great Barrier.
But tourists need a beach, not a muddy field, so they laid this artificial lagoon out. So, now, everybody is happy ;-((
But Cairns and this area stay a great place! I'm looking forward to see your next posts.

  9. Hee!!!! Too funny.

I don't think I'd even contemplate camping in an area where there might be crocs (plastic or otherwise).
