Deno's Diner - for all your fibreglass hot dog needs
You can't go past Deno's Diner for halal hot dogs. What I especially love is the milk crates it is balanced on! A southern Sydney institution, Deno's has for decades sated many a late night going-home munchie attack.

Halal? When have Hot Dogs ever been Halal??? Such an oxymoron, don't you think? ;)
ReplyDeleteHi edwin : As fgar as I know, Halal just refers to the way the meat used in it is slaughtered and prayers said....any meat can be halal I suppose! Anyway, Deno's advertises itself as having halal products :-)
ReplyDeleteHalal takeaway is quite easy to source in Sydney!
Hi Sally - I am a partner at Denos's and was pleasantly surprised to see our landmard Hot Dog (intact with milk crates) in your Blog. I have also enjoyed viewing your photographs in general -being an artist myself.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to invite you over to Deno's for a chat about Australia /Turkey / Art/Teaching/ Hot Dogs etc -
Naturally the meals on me - Hehehe
