Anzac Bridge from Rozelle Bay
I love the Anzac Bridge - think it is really elegant. This view from the marina at Rozelle Bay is possibly one of the best there is. See here for previous posts of the bridge.

Crew
Mega yachts belonging to the mega wealthy require lots of crew to keep going. There wasn't a lot of activity as we wandered around the marina at Rozelle Bay.
The young man above was working on the Xanadu, belonging to John Symond of Aussie Home Loans fame (I found that out later through the power of Google - we didn't ask him who the owner is).
There was a bit of activity around the Flying Fish, which unlike the Xanadu, is available for charter if you fancy a bit of a taste of luxury. it will set you back $12,000 for a single 24 hour period for up to 8 guests. (included: boat hire, crew, fuel, soft drinks, orange juice and meals. Alcohol charged on consumption.)

Channelling Monte Carlo Daily Photo
Jilly from Monte Carlo Daily Photo often shows us luxury yachts parked at the marina there. So, here's some Sydney boat-porn, at Rozzelle Bay.
I guess for this owner, a superyacht is an expensive mistress?

Garden, Parliament House
I was at a meeting at Parliament House. This is a view over the roof garden from the meeting room I was in.

Champagne Pools, Fraser Island
Reposted from my swimming blog.
You can't swim at the magnificent beach along the eastern coast of Fraser Island (sharks, deadly sea snakes, currents....), but these natural rock pools are a gorgeous place for a dip.
They are natural fish traps, used by Aboriginal people.
Waves crash over the rocks, creating 'champagne bubbles".

A little rest
Sydney Daily Photo is taking a little holiday. It's been nearly FIVE years, even posting in advance when I've been away, and I'm just in need of a breather and some fresh ideas.
My Swimming blog has been neglected and I want to spend some time 'curating' it and using stock I have.
So why not have a look here, at Swimming?
I'll be back when I have something to show and tell. Thanks to all my followers, and to everyone who has made comments over the past almost-five-years!

A hard game
Thanks to my friend Fionie for this picture!
As Fionie says, Politics is a hard game, but funny.
Verity Firth is the member for Balmain. She is also Education Minister in the state governmnet. There is a state election on 22 March, which the government is widely tipped to lose, in a big way.
Recently, Ms Firth's husband was arrested and charged with drug possession of an ecstacy tablet. See story here.
Ms Firth is under strong challenge in her electorate from local Mayor and candidate for The Greens, Jaimie Parker.
Election posters in her electorate have had the letters V-RITY blacked out, so her campaign slogan, "KEEP VERITY" now reads "KEEP E".

Clover Cafe, Annandale
I recently ate at this cafe in Annandale with a couple of really good friends, including Colette from the UK.
I had the fabulous fruit platter. I have never had such a wonderful array of fresh fruit at a cafe!
Watermelon, blueberries, apple, passionfruit, mango, grapes, kiwifruit, strawberry, nashi pear, orange.
