Lighthouse, Low Head


Low Head lighthouse, at the mouth of the Tamar River, where it meets Bass Strait. Our last day in Tasmania - back to Sydney!

    I am always captivated by light houses since I was born in a little town on the shores of Lake Michigan in Wisconsin plus Minnesota, where I now live has spectacular lighthouse on Lake Superior. I like the perspective of the top photo.

    Beautiful lighthouse image, with interesting horizontal band painting. Really shows up with the blue of the sky.
