Now that the jacarandas have finished their flush of purple, it's time for the agapanthuses to show their stuff. They are a very popular street planting, like this patch along the footpath in Chalmers St, Surry Hills. Occasionally plant vandals lop off their heads, but I haven't seen any of that this year (so far).Aggies are native to South Africa.
They're all over the place and beautiful indeed!
