Water taxi, Darling Harbour
I am having a few days break with my family on the NSW South Coast. Not sure whether I can post from there - mobile phones don't often work, so what chance wireless internet??? I have posted some photos below so you can feast your eyes on the place that most nourishes my soul, until we return later in the week.

ReplyDeleteI have seen one or two but have never ridden in one. We certainly don't have any where I live. As Norma noted the weather looks beautiful.

Hey! I drove to a headland near the house and am on wireless.
ReplyDeleteThis was taken in the middle of winter....a pretty typical Sydney winter sky.
Now is just beautiful, and I ma feasting my eyes on forest-covered mountains (?) - well, hills, and blue, blue turquoise and sapphire seas....such are the provations!
That's a taxi I'd like to ride in. Nice one. Hope you can make a visit to melbourne via my blog one day!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! Funny how Venice is the only place that comes to mind thinking of water taxis. I wonder how many other cities use them? I can't think of any others, but then I wouldn't have thought of Sydney either....

thanks everyone; i will visit all your taxis when i get back on to high speed....this connection drops out every few minutes and takes minutes to load each page! Just like the steram-powered internet we knew a few years ago!
