Theme Day: Best photo 2008

I really don't know if this was my "best" photo, but it was favourite piece of artwork from 2008 - Nexus by from Sculpture By The Sea. It was also the photo I went back to capture as well as I could, and took the most discarded shots of!

  23. Sally, It makes such a striking silhouette, even in the thumbnail version. The first time I saw it the tree reminded me of Grace Jones' hair cut in that famous 80s poster/album cover photo of her ;^). You've had so many memorable shots this year and you've continued to show us your interesting finds all around Sydney. I think your feelings of connections to the people, places, and scenes you show us really carries through. And I can relate to having a number of cast off shots in order to capture the heart of what you are seeing through the lens.
