Heard it was terrific - some country folk do get to see these shows! Performing arts: its difficult to choose, it depends on the X factor and being well done for any one particular form. These mobile adverts are striking!
It was fabulous. Helps if you have seen the movie, or have a basic understanding of the miners' strike in northern England in the mid-1980s. The child performers are amazingly talented.
Glad you enjoyed it. I've not seen the film or the musical and would like to see one at least. I love musical theatre but then I love all theatre if it's good. My favourite form of the performing arts is theatre - a night at the National in London is my idea of bliss.
had to look twice at this. Really like the composition. Very lively photo.
ReplyDeleteHope you have fun! I've Offenbach's «The Tales of Hoffmann» for exchange tonight... ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I'm going to enjoy!

I don't know much about musicals. I think I don't like them in French. I'd love to see a few musicals in NY when I go to the US in June.
