Tomorrow, what you'll find on the other side of the bridge....

  1. Blends in nicely with its environment doesn't it? Is there something else the money could have been spent on, and a less extreme structure built I wonder? Sorry, this sort of spending gets right up my nose.

  5. The bridge looks like it's designed so that no-one can jump from it. Can't wait 'til tomorrow (or is it today?)!

  7. kate: I think you are absolutely correct - you can't even take a decent picture from it, I found! It's in a stretch of the river where kids would be jumping off all the time, and there's lots of dangers, including speed boats going back and forth.

  10. This is a really nice foot bridge. It has all of the required things added to it. The fence above to keep people from throwing stuff over and then below the bars to keep people from jumping -- I am guessing. It looks like you would have to really jump out to get over and fall below to whatever is down there. I am anxious to see what is on the other side. I guess restrooms or toilets or something bizarre.

I think you stood at the best spot to take the picture as it certainly looks nice here and on the portal.
