big drink (Sculpture By The Sea 2009)

Justin Drape and Simone Brandse are the makers of this steel, pvc tubing, nylon andacrylic in-sea work.

They say: "Australia is an island surrounded by water yet we never have enough of it to drink. The sculpture highlights this irony, bringing to mind the desalination debate."

It's great. Did you have to go back to get this shot, Sally? I saw something in the newspaper about them having trouble with this installation and it didn't go in until late last week.

J Bar yes, I read from the Sculpture by the Sea newsletter that the setting up of this piece had been difficult.

Great idea, I love this one!
