Autumn skies

In Sydney, autumn skies are often clear and deep blue. Lately, we've been seeing just such skies. As I walked along my street yesterday morning I was struck by the contrast between the blue of the sky and this red roof. Then I got to the park a block away and loved the image of the blue sky as background to autumnal display of leaves on the plane trees.

  1. Great shots sally, I love the blue skies.

  2. Great photos, Sally. I can see why the red roof captured your attention.

  3. We sometimes have autumn skies like this too - crisp and cold but sunny, and the combination of that with those autumn leaves is just wonderful, just as you have captured it.

  4. In the UK this week we have had some great Spring blue skies. The Spring trees have looked beautiful against the blue skies. YOur Autumn trees look great as well. Just booked my Sydney Bridge climb for my holiday there in August. Can not wait!

  5. Beautiful blue skies !!!!!

I like the last photo, with the sky peeping between the leaves..

  6. Very beautiful blue skies indeed! Hope you are enjoying them on this Saturday and getting some rest and recreation in. Your red, blue and yellow colors in this post are very pleasing to gaze at. Perhaps from a lounge chair :-)

  7. Sometimes we also have that wonderful blue sky :)
    Have a nice week!
