Ski equipment

Ski shop, Princes Highway, Banksia.

Winter is here, and although the ski season has started, I'm not sure that there's a lot of snow in the Australian Alps yet.

Get equipped before you head for the snow. The nearest ski resorts are about a 7 hour drive south from Sydney.

  2. That is a great sign. I had to double take, then triple take when I saw the air conditioner units inthe walls.

  3. I didn't realise that it snowed in Oz!

I have something a little special tomorrow to help announce the arrival of a new site of mine,

  4. Nathalie - I don't think any trips to the snow are on the cards this year. Bunkering down at home for a while now....

Southshields - yes, there are extensive snowfields in Australia, as I said about 7 hours drive south of Sydney. Also in northern Victoria. Who knows what global warming will mean for them? Altogether about 10 or so major resorts.
