Tranquility

Looking across the Georges River towards the city. I called this "Tranquility" to draw attention to the difference between this peaceful scene and the 62 nd anniversary of Hiroshima Day.

  1. Bel endroit, tout en douceur et en tranquilite. J'avoue que je ne savais pas que c'etait le 62th anniversaire d'hiroshima ;o(

Beautiful place, all carefully and in tranquilite. I acknowledge that I did not know that it was the 62th birthday of Hiroshima ;O(

  2. There are too many of these painful memories, and your photo is a fitting tribute to a sad and memorable event.

Had dinner Sat. with friends who visited a son in Sydney who is a film maker. They raved about your city!

  3. Odd that you mentioned Hiroshima. I posted a little or a lot about my experience with atomic bombs and it might be interesting.

  5. Good for you Sally for mentioning Hiroshima. I used to live just up the hill from the foreshore in your photo - at Sylvania - in a previous life with a previous husband!
