The view in the opposite direction from yesterday...
I got off the train here with some tourists, who gasped in awe - their first sight of Sydney Harbour, the bridge, the Opera House. I showed them the best vantage point for their first photo of Sydney. Right here. It was quite amazing being with people whose breath was taken away. I can understand it. Sometimes you can become very blase about your own city, however I never, ever, ever get tired of this view, and always drink it in whenever I get off the train at Circular Quay station.

cela fait une belle vue, avec le pont et l'opera.
ReplyDeletethat makes a beautiful sight, with the bridge and the opera.
I can see why they would gasp...great scenery. BTW, a photo of this harbor with the bridge and opera house is on the cover of my son's college math book.
ReplyDeleteHi Sally, just popping in to say hello. Nice to see Circular quay again.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well.
I like a lot this view. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and like you I'm proud of my city and never tired to see some angle of it.
ReplyDeleteI imagine to be right there one day and take a ton of photos.
I use to catch the airport line to work, my favourite part of the day was to see tourist fresh of an international flight and see their reactions when they arrive at Circular Quay. Yup. Never. Ever. Get sick of it.
ReplyDeleteSame here...never get sick of that view!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally, glad to get back here and see some great shots as usual. Of course, the beauty of Sydney helps, but your talent makes it unbeatable...
ReplyDeleteCircular Quay is stunning. I always remember the view from the Park Hyatt towards the Opera, with the Bridge on your back...

ReplyDeletei was told to get the nicest picture of both the opera house and the sydney harbour bridge, you got to go to the Botanical Gardens, stand right at the edge and tada! the best view... izit true?
Spectacular, Sally
