Oooh, that's lovely! At least if the films turn out to be terrible, you can step outside for a nicer visual treat!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness some sense prevailed when they were demolishing the old theatre in Sydney. It is a unique theatre. Are you going to the festival?
ReplyDeleteCrikey!
ReplyDeleteWhat a superb interior, it must make the experience that much more enjoyable.
It looks more than great.
ReplyDeleteIt looks more than great.
ReplyDeleteWow! Forget the movies -- I'd love to be there to look at the building. :)
ReplyDeleteI just love this theatre, a real Goth-movie sort of a place. Just SO over the top.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to see any movies?
I really wish I were, Nathalie. But too much work, and I don't get to go out much at night.
ReplyDeleteOne year I keep promising myself to take leave around both writers' and film festivals, but somehow it's always busy in may/june (state and federal budgets to analyse and stuff)
ce theatre est superbe et cela doit etre un endroit sympathique pour un festival de cinema
ReplyDeletethis theatre is superb and that must be a place sympathetic nerve for a festival of cinema
In Wroclaw in July there'llbe a film festivall as well. There isn't normal festival, but it's called "New Horizon Festival". There're shown a new, experimental films, some underground films, indepentents directors and film's of directors like von Trier, Lych and many more.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really big and important festivall here.
It is an amazing photograph showing how much money had been made off the world of film. Just imagine the people who owned the film and the distribution rights to it.
ReplyDeleteNice shot.
I have 1 baby raccoon today and a pile of poop!

I couldn'tget my eyes of the ceiling. Amazing place. And they did this kind of work only 78 years ago. How fast our standards have gone down.
