Come fly with me!

This is a Short Skyvan, made in Belfast. It is used for taking passengers sky-diving from Bankstown Airport.

Here's some more about the Skyvan. And here.

Have you ever been sky diving? Would you like to?

And below: an Artist Trading Card (a 3.5 x 4.5 inch or 69mm x89mm) tiny work of creativity) I made. I wonder if these people would like to "Fly with me, come fly with me, let's float down to Peru..." as cranky Frankie exhorted?

  1. Your card IS very creative! But please don't pick on Ole Blue Eyes - he is worshiped in my family!

Regarding your (how rude!) remark - please keep your paws off my George ;-) As far as the Monaco Racer is concerned, well, some things we do for love...some for money ;-). Like I told Jilly - has she learned nothing from Anna Nicole?

  2. Gee, that plane looks kinda small...but at least everyone on board should have a parachute handy.

  3. So when you get on board, do they give you your on parachute?

As for the park in my photo, "yes" the park is used quite a bit by walkers and families from the neighbourhood to play in.

Thought your room photo with the stained glass window was great.

  4. Your title remind me of the song by Frank Sinatra. Out of curiousity have you ever flown with this plane?

  5. Wow, this is huge...
After a small Cessna in Grand Canyon (Blogtrotter 70s & 80s), another in Alaska (2002), and an ultra-leve (ultralight) in Brazil, I would happily join you on the flight... Have a nice weekend

  6. I have not seen this plane before. It serves a good purpose.

Today, I published a nest photograph and some details about its construction; and a link to some dead birds with an explanation. Oh; and thanks for coming to my blog and leaving comments. I do appreciate it.
