Milk Crates

....stacked on the footpath outside St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Arncliffe, opposite Arncliffe Park.

  1. Good focus on colour here, Sally. I am continually surprised by the uses that these crates can be put to.

Now to location: low stone lichen-dotted wall; extensive parkland; some single-story double-fronted 50s redbrick houses. Can't be Surry Hills! Could be the park down from St Stephen's in Newtown - wot used to be part of the cemetery.

    I give up ...

  3. We have similar milk crates here in Iran.

  4. Now, Sally, who would have guessed that common plastic crates would have made such an artistic photo. Only someone with a good eye--you! Visit my new blog (I wonder if this will be readable?)

  5. I used to use these for furniture (only mine were black). I still have one or two left that need to be added to that pile! BTW, I put a post up on my blog just for you... :-)

  6. Recognise the old sandstone wall in the background ;-)
