Hi Sally! First of all many thanks for your comment on my post of 08.08.08 at 08h08 at Blogtrotter, now in Kos, Greece! It was great to read you there. Second, sorry for the long delay to come here, but August was a terribly busy month, as everybody else seems to be in vacation… ;)) Anyhow, I found sometime now to land here and enjoy your blog. Great lamp! Amazing iguana, and lovely picture of the old ladies!! But my favourite is the bus stop... ;)) Wish you a great weekend!
Beautiful lamp. Is it blown glass/ It looks like a Chihuly. MB
ReplyDeleteInteresting lamp! I wonder how big is it...
ReplyDeleteWhat is it made of?

At first glance on the portal I thought that this might be an unusual shell. It's a wonderful looking lamp!
ReplyDeleteYes, glorious lamp: the fabric, the colour. Just imagine the glow it would create in a living room.
ReplyDeleteA stunning photo, Sally!!
ReplyDeleteThe lamp looks enormous...
It is very big indeed - at least an arm span. And I believe it is made of fabric. I'll have to go back when the shop is open for a closer look!
ReplyDeleteOMG, it must be an extremely big lamp, and beautiful, nice shot sally
ReplyDeleteThis needs a closer look so I can copy it for my very own. What a beautiful addition it would make to my place.
ReplyDeleteI believe that is an unbreakable bond!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I wonder if they make them to order? I'd love a lilac one.
ReplyDeleteI love this shot. Beautiful!
ReplyDeletethis has been in that shop window for so long i think the lamp itself has become a newtown night-time landmark
