  3. So typical, aren't they?

Sally there's an event in Avignon starting today that I suppose you'll be interested in. I'll tell you more when after I have attended.

  5. Great photo. Your photo reminds me that houses dont all have to look exactly the same (read drab and ugly) or be 6 storeys high. I miss home so much sometimes. Your blog gives me such a lift at those times :) Thank you.

  6. Such pretty houses and all so different but so close together. It always surprised me, when I was in an Australian city, to see houses so jammed up when there is so much space in Oz. This would be like apartment living I think - up close and personal as it were.

  7. This reminds me that we come from English stock. I would take these to be working-men's cottages of the 1880s. There are many of them around my way (Redfern/Waterloo) some of which have been gentrified - like the ones in your photo - and others still owned by folks who are down on their uppers.

  8. These are all so charming. I'm moving in with Bergson into the yellow one. Cute and narrow and far too many stairs up to the living level.
