SDP on tour ... the beach at Porquerolles


After the bus, boat and walk, we arrived at the Plage d'Argent (Silver Beach). Despite the rather overcast and hazy day, it was warm and the beach nice and sandy, the water warm and clean.

    I was in Porquerolles a couple of weeks ago, we hired bikes so were able to visit a large part of the island. The weather was beautiful but very hot so we spent a large part of our day swimming in order to cool off. A wonderful day out.
