In the side lane (actually a really useful walkway between the station and a main road) is this fading mural on the side of the newsagency. I'd love to see it restored. The garbage bins and stacked returns ready for pick-up find a home here.
Update: Since I took the photos above and at left, the mural has been painted over. The rather more prosaic result is below:

Bummer. You need to get hold of the mural artist!
I miss seeing that on the drive down Wollongong Road.
