Redfern kama sutra - location
Yesterday's photos were a glimpse inside this tumble-down and gutted house in Short St, Redfern. It reminds me a lot of Pompei for some reason!
I took it looking through that window on the right side of the facade.

Do you know what the plans are for this building? It has possibilities!
ReplyDeleteLove these two posts, Sally. Beautiful old walls full of character.
ReplyDeleteYour photos from March, 7 and 8 are very interesting. I like especially the detailed shot with the common sight. Well photographed.
ReplyDeleteHi Sally
ReplyDeleteThanks for these photos. I live in Short Street. I'm very glad you found us! There are plans for this site - two terrace houses will be built there.
The area around and including Short Street has been a mix f residential and industrial uses sitting side-by-side, with the residential gradually becoming dominant. I believe this site once upon a time was a brick works, with a chocolate factory next door!
Keep on snapping!
