Frost in Arncliffe Park

Sydney enjoys a temperate climate, and the suburbs closer to the coast rarely experience frost. I can't remember the last time I saw frost in Arncliffe (away from the coast, they are common in winter, however).

Yesterday Sydney had its coldest June temperatures in a couple of decades - down to a low of 4.7 at 7am, and a high of 14.4 at 3pm. The June mean minimum is 9.3, mean maximum 16.6

  1. Wow, that cold?? The frost looks lovely to me, as we are roasting in northern summer, mid 40s today.

    Enjoy it while you can.

  2. Oops, sorry, I meant to say mid 30s today near Jerusalem.
However, last week we were down below sea level in the Rift Valley and it WAS mid 40s.

  3. It certainly stops us in our tracks, very unusual. At least it's sunny by day.

The frost looks very nice though. Stay warm, take care.
