The ring of rocks pool - underwater
This is from half under the water in the pool seen yesterday. I'm experimenting with the D10 waterproof camera to see what different effects I can get. Which do you prefer? In the shot below you can see the water bubbles as a fresh wave spills over the rocks into the pool.

I've always been fascinated with the half in/out technique. I think I prefer the second image where you can see the bubbles underwater sharply defined.
ReplyDeletestrange and beautiful shots
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Sally-although it does not look like traditional christmas weather in your place!
ReplyDeleteIn Athens we have 20 C today, so not like white christmas here too!
I'm happy with either. You seems to be having a great time with it. Are you going to see if you can find some fish next?
ReplyDeletei love the second shot... the bubbles and the bird are beautiful
ReplyDeleteI have experimented with the half under half out of the water technique. It is tricky with a small lens. because the ocean does not stand still to be in the right spot. Good luck. I like both shots.
ReplyDeleteMy preference is for the first shot but they are both interesting and very unusual.
ReplyDeleteYou've got the best all all possible worlds in the second shot, Sal.
